Robin Grebe earned her B.F.A. in Ceramics from the Massachusetts College of Art and her M.F.A. in Ceramics/Glass from the Tyler School of Art, Massachusetts. She has been an instructor at Rhode Island School of Design and the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington. Her figurative work is influenced by Cycladic fertility figures, early Byzantine, iconic paintings, and folk art, among other inspirations. Grebe's work has been shown in Europe and the United States and is represented in many international museum collections, including the Cleveland Museum of Art, Ohio; the Detroit Institute of Arts, Michigan; the Corning Museum of Glass, New York; and the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, Japan.

 Presents well. A few minor chips to brick elements, concentrated to edges. One minor loss on right edge of work. Slight unsteadiness to sculpture when mounted on base.
