Description
EIGHT AMERICAN BRILLIANT-CUT GLASS ITEMSLibbey, Hawkes, and other makers, c.1900
Comprising a tall goblet engraved with floral wreath centering the initials BW; a pair of Libbey tumblers with strawberry diamonds below starbursts; a pair of unmarked tumblers with hobstars below fans; a hobstar decorated nappy with notched and scalloped rim; and a tumbler and sherbert in Hawkes' 'Strawberry' pattern; both Hawkes tumblers with Libbey mark on interior base; the Strawberry tumbler with Hawkes mark
The tallest: 9in. high
Condition Report*:
Bryan Abbott: All pieces with mormal signs of wear as appropriate with age; the goblet with multipile miniscule rim chips; the nappy with multiple chips and losses to the notched and scalloped rim; the 'Strawberry' sherbert with chip to rim of disc foot; and the 'Strawberry' tumbler with tiny chip to exterior of rim.
