    Signed upper right
    George Petty illustrated a series of celebrated calendars for Ridge Tool in the fifties, and this lovely example hails from a peak period in Petty's career. This gorgeous painting was reproduced as figure 605 in The Great American Pin-Up by Charles G. Martignette and Louis K. Meisel, Taschen, 1996.

    Condition Report*: Unless otherwise noted, this lot is in good condition with only normal wear commensurate with age. Framed to an overall size of 23.5 x 21 in. Not examined outside of frame.
