This gemstone trio includes three unique stones. A faceted green Emerald weighing 17.1 carats, a Star Ruby cabochon, and a Spinel. The Emerald is oval-shaped and has been faceted. The stone is highly included, which is common for the variety. The color is quite saturated and displays an overall green hue. The Star Ruby is a phenomenal stone and displays a six-rayed star. The rounded cabochon is thick with a low dome. The color is a dark reddish purple, the star is nicely centered with thin rays, and a distinct hexagonal crystal is visible in the center of the stone, indicating how the crystal grew. The Spinel is from one of the top localities for the variety -Myanmar. The Spinel features an oval shape, mixed-cut faceting, and a purplish pink hue. Both the Spinel and the Star Ruby fluoresce under ultraviolet light due to the presence of Chromium. This is an outstanding grouping.
