DescriptionVery Rare Gemstone: Anglesite - 75.54 Ct.
Anglesite is a rare Lead mineral that is only occasionally transparent enough to be faceted. The crystal that yielded this impressive rare gemstone was unusually large and clean. This cushion cut gem is very light yellow, with high dispersion, and was cut by master rare gem cutter Mike Gray of Missoula, Montana from a rough specimen found in 2002. Due to the soft nature of this unique material, there are some expected imperfections, but, overall, it is a very elegant stone.
Measurements: 21.53 x 17.90 x 13.27 mm, 75.54 cts.
Provenance: Rainbow of Africa Collection
