    Description

Gemstones: Ruby Matched Pair - 2.02 TCW
    Myanmar

Myanmar (Burma) is one of the top producers of Rubies in the world, and some of the best examples known from history came from this locality. This matched pair is no exception and weighs in at over 2 carats total weight. The vibrant red stones have an attractive trillion shape with brilliant faceting on the crown and step cut facets on the pavilion. The stones are almost identical and would make the most ideal set of earrings. The gems are in excellent condition, with only minor surface reaching inclusions. The pair displays the most vibrant red-pink color! These must be seen in person to grasp the true richness and vibrancy of hue that both display. One of the "Big Three," Rubies are in a class all their own as is evident with this unparalleled set.
    Measurements: 6.02 x 6.54 x 3.72, 1.01 cts., 6.03 x 6.14 x 3.77 mm, 1.01 cts.

    Provenance: The Jena Blue Collection

Accompanied by AGL Certificate #1107670 A and B
