Triplite is an extremely rare mineral. This particular stone hails from Pakistan and displays a rich dark brownish-orange and red hue. The color is truly something to behold. The stone weighs an impressive 9.59 carats and has a pleasing oval shape with brilliant facets. Triplite is notorious for being difficult to facet, so any example this large is incredibly impressive. The gemstone is in overall good condition with only one small nick to the table and a few abrasions on the culet. There are a few expected visible inclusions. This gemstone was cut from a large, clear and lustrous crystal. This is an outstanding specimen on many levels.
