    Gemstone: Tourmaline - 10.98 Cts.
Dara-i-Pech pegmatite field (Darra-i-Pech; Darra-e-Pech; Pech; Peech; Page)
    Chapa Dara District, Konar Province

One of the many appealing attributes of Tourmaline gemstones is the wide range of color in which they occur. This amazing, almost 11 carat, Tourmaline comes from one of the most popular locations in the world for semi-precious stones: Afghanistan. This mint green Tourmaline exhibits a stylish cushion shape and modified brilliant cut. Due to the impeccable cut, the gemstone lights up with a most mesmerizing scintillation. The viewer is struck by the charming bluish-green hue that exhibits good saturation, with subtle color zoning. In addition, when the stone is moved, flashes of sea blue appear in this pleochroic gem. The stone is accompanied by a GIA certificate (#2171689750), which further attests to its amazing characteristics. This stone is slightly included, but still in pristine condition. This outstanding stone does not disappoint, as it is full of surprises.
    Measurements: 14.52 x 11.07 x 9.05 mm, 10.98 cts.

    Accompanied by GIA Certificate #2171689750
