Originating from one of the most mineral-rich countries, Sri Lanka, this Tourmalinated Quartz is truly something to behold. Encased in colorless Quartz, the gemstone prominently features an intricate network of fine black Tourmaline crystals, which do steal the show in this 76.80-carat offering. Chaotically arranged in an intersecting fashion, hundreds of grayish black Tourmaline 'needles' fill almost the entire stone, with many being surface reaching, creating a dynamic and captivating offering. The dense material has a fancy cut with brilliant facets on the crown and step facets on the pavilion.
