From Pingwu, China, this stunning Scheelite gemstone is worthy of note. As if finding a gemstone of quality Scheelite is not enough of a treat, having adequate large gemmy rough to make a whopping 30+ carat example is a huge victory. Great color and an elegant, elongated, oval shape with brilliant facets characterize this fine stone with a seductive golden-honey hue and excellent luster. The gem has been cut and faceted by Spectrum Award winner Mark Kaufman. The precise cut is quite a feat due to the soft nature of the material. Additionally, the cut aimed to highlight the stones natural color zoning resulting in one attractive gem as the ends are a darker orange than the center combining for a mesmerizing example. This rare gemstone is only slightly included and is in excellent condition.
