    Description

    Gemstone: Morganite - 87.48 Cts.
Urucum claim (Córrego do Urucum pegmatite)
    Galiléia, Minas Gerais
    Brazil

The pink variety of Beryl, Morganite, can be striking in specimen and gemstone form. Popular for lovely pink hues and significant hardness, gemstone examples rarely disappoint. This natural stone exhibits an unusual peachy-pink hue, due to trace amounts of Manganese, which is simply beautiful. Mined from the famous Urucum claim in Brazil, known for producing outstanding peach Morganite stones that are clean and require no enhancement. This massive example tips the scales at just shy of 88 carats and displays incredible scintillation as well as brilliance while featuring an oval shape and a modified brilliant cut. The stone was obviously expertly cut as evidenced by its nicely balanced coloration and lack of "windowing" while being transparent. Additionally, this stone is eye-clean and in pristine condition, accompanied by a GIA certificate (#2191534634). A stone of this caliber, and this size, is truly remarkable and rare. This is a "world-class" stone that deserves all the attention and accolades that are sure to come its way.
    Measurements: 35 x 23.99 x 17.57 mm, 87.48 cts.

    Accompanied by GIA Certificate #2191534634
