This grand gemstone is a lovely purplish pink Kunzite. Known for being the pink variety of Spodumene, it is the most popular of the species. This iconic stone is prized for its characteristic pastel hue, transparency, and large size. This particular stone weighs a notable 67.11 carats with well-balanced coloration due to trace amounts of Manganese, a distinguished Asscher cut with step-cut faceting, and lovely scintillation when moved and viewed. The grand stone is eye-clean, with the exception of a single linear growth zone near the center under the table, likely resulting from a growth interruption during crystallization. This natural feature adds to the unique history of the stone's formation. There are a few nicks to the facet junctions only on the crown, which is typical for such material of this size. This gem is highly appealing due to its excellent brilliance, color, cut, polish, and size. It is a real showstopper in good condition with a lot of dynamism and noteworthy color. Care should be taken to avoid prolonged exposure to heat and bright light, which can adversely affect such material's appearance.
