This gorgeous Imperial Topaz displays the warm brownish orange hue characteristic of the prized variety, presented here in an unusually large example for the species. Weighing well beyond the sizes most typically encountered, at 130.06 carats, the stone immediately distinguishes itself through both scale and color presence. Imperial Topaz has long been celebrated among collectors as the most esteemed member of the Topaz family, historically associated with royal patronage and prized for its rich sunset-like tones. Cut in a chic, elongated cushion shape with mixed-cut faceting, the gemstone exhibits well-balanced proportions that enhance its highly saturated color. Subtle pleochroic shifts add dimension as the stone moves in the light, while excellent brilliance and lively scintillation dance across the facets. The stone is very well cut and finely polished. Slightly included, the gem shows minor natural features consistent with this variety, along with a few small nicks at several facet junctions; nevertheless, it remains in very good overall condition. Combining impressive size, desirable coloration, and strong optical character, this Imperial Topaz represents a compelling example of one of the most coveted varieties within the Topaz family.
