For more than a century, Querétaro, Mexico, has been regarded as the definitive source for fine Fire Opal, producing stones prized for their vivid, flame-like coloration and exceptional transparency. This impressive 39.34-carat example stands as a compelling representation of the variety on a notable scale. Displaying a highly saturated yellowish orange bodycolor, the gem radiates warmth and intensity, its tone beautifully balanced across the elongated oval form. A soft, luminous haze, iconic to fine Mexican Fire Opal, adds depth, giving the stone its signature glowing opalescence.
