This highly attractive 2.97-carat Colombian Emerald displays the vivid, saturated green coloration that has made these stones among the most coveted gemstones in the world. The gem exhibits an intense, luminous bodycolor with an internal glow characteristic of fine Colombian material. Expertly cut into a cushion shape with modified brilliant faceting, the stone displays very good brilliance and pleasing light return across its surface. The gemstone is accompanied by a GIA report indicating minor clarity enhancement (F1), a common and widely accepted treatment for Emerald that signifies only a small amount of filler used.
