Sri Lanka (Ceylon) has long been recognized for producing fine gem-quality Alexandrite, with stones from the region valued for their clarity and fine color change phenomena. This 2.09-carat Alexandrite displays a yellowish green dominant hue that shifts toward brownish yellow, characteristic of the subtle color-change phenomenon associated with Chrysoberyl from this historic source. The gem is fashioned in an oval mixed cut with excellent proportions, cut, and polish, enhancing its strong light performance and overall visual presence.
