While cut and faceted examples of the February birthstone are not uncommon by any means, nice gems of Amethyst are popular and hard to beat. This concave cut, oval shaped beauty has a very regal air to it. Approaching a considerable 15 carats, this larger stone was cut from Brazilian material. This natural gem has a rich and consistent lavender color throughout and is eye clean. The crown literally sparkles on this gem.
