Fine Gemstone: Tourmaline var. Rubellite - 22.80 Ct.

From the big find a number of years ago; a find that put this part of Nigeria on a lot of people's maps. The warm, purplish red color is emblematic of the material from the Keffi area. It was cut in a cushion shape, in a modified brilliant style, giving it lots of sparkle even with its slight amount of inclusions. At almost 23 carats, it is a big stone suitable for creating a serious impression at society events and gallery openings.
Measurements: 19.28 x 16.94 x 10.63 mm, 22.80 cts.
