This elongated pear shape cut, of a distinctly smoky pink color, is typical color of some of the Tourmalines mined from the Alto Ligonha District in Mozambique. It has been reported in the past that some tourmaline crystals approaching five feet in length have been found protruding from the ground of this mineral rich area. This lovely eye clean Tourmaline was faceted by Tony Mittelmeyer of Cape Town, South Africa, from rough that was mined in 1996.
Measurements: 23.85 x 14.20 x 9.27 mm, 16.65 cts.
