Three distinct cabochons comprise this Lot: a colorful Boulder Opal, a Turquoise cab, and an Ethiopian Opal. The Boulder Opal hails from Australia and has an organic triangular shape with seams of white Opal with green and blue flashes mixed in among the earthy brown Ironstone. The low-domed cabochon has 'fire' only on the backside, and there is a chip missing near the top, but otherwise, it is in good condition and represents coveted material out of Australia. The nearly pear-shaped Turquoise cabochon comes from one of the top localities for the variety - Sleeping Beauty Peak. The vibrant medium-domed cabochon has a bright teal-colored hue, identifiable for the type, with earthy Limonite veining. The stone was once in a setting with a little residual glue and a flat-cut bottom. The last stone is a Jelly/Water Opal from Ethiopia. The high-domed, pear-shaped stone has nice play-of-color. The stone is evidencing some crazing, and there are a few nicks along the bottom of the stone. This is a nice offering of three unique and colorful gemstones.
