Opals from Ethiopia are fast becoming a favorite of collectors. This popularity is due to the range of patterns and intense play-of-color. This large jelly-type, 24.60-carat beauty boasts a tightly arranged honeycomb pattern that lights up with every color of the spectrum. This top example is in excellent condition. The cabochon features a medium-dome and a rounded girdle. The play-of-color is evident on all polished surfaces; this one lights up with 360-degree fire.
