Condition Report*: Sam Maloof hand-carved California walnut and ebony rocking chair:   An excellent example of the important California Studio Master. Small nicks and abrasions consistent with normal wear. There is a tiny pin-prick sized puncture and scuff at the back of the seat. The bottom of the runners have slight wear consistent with use, but is not visible. Armrests exhibit sun fading and wear, but could be easily restored with a light sanding and oiling which will bring back the beauty in the wood.
