George Nakashima's 1980 commission for International Paper's New York headquarters represented one of George Nakashima's most ambition groups of works and remains among his most celebrated projects. It allowed him to experiment with new and adapted forms, creating an extraordinary set of furnishings of unrivaled quality. This Kornblut cabinet is a unique version of his iconic cabinet case, with a special burl handle and custom features.

Condition Report*: Contains four adjustable shelves. An important and rare example of this work. Structurally sound, with areas of water staining to top, minor dings and shallow scratches, all wear commensurate with age and use.
