    A PAIR OF IMPORTANT KINGWOOD AND TULIPWOOD GILT BRONZE MOUNTED VITRINE CABINETS WITH WEDGWOOD JASPERWARE PLAQUES, SIGNED FRANÇOIS LINKE (FRENCH, d. 1946)
    Paris, France, circa 1900
    Marks to gilt bronze of both cabinets: F. Linke
    77 x 39 x 18 inches (195.6 x 99.1 x 45.7 cm)
    The pair of cabinets with undulating bonnet centered with asymmetrical foliate finial framed with wave mounts flowing to female bust canted out from corner, movement continuing down the stiles to cabriole leg with wave sabot, bombe front set with Wedgwood Jasperware medallion, bowed glass panels framed with velvet fillets to the interior.


    Condition Report*: The vitrines are of excellent quality with some infill, lifting and buckling of veneer, bronzes have been regilt, one door is not closing squarely, descication to velvet fillets, replaced locks to both vitrines.
