A JOSEPH-EMMANUEL ZWIENER LOUIS XV-STYLE GILT BRONZE, SATINWOOD AND FRUITWOOD VITRINE

63-1/2 x 27-3/4 x 12 inches (161.3 x 70.5 x 30.5 cm)

The vitrine of undulating surfaces, the convex cartouche to front and sides hold marquetry panels of flowering branches within gilt bronze border of addorsed scrolls which is repeated to the convex glass panes to front and side, canted corners with gilt bronze ribboned foliate garland extending down side to simplified band following the cabriole leg to the claw-form sabot, door opens to three movable glass shelves and permanent mirrored base with open compartment below

The vitrine with minor lifter of veneer, and some loss of gilding to bronzes.
