    Purportedly from the property of his Royal Highness Ernst August, King of Hanover, Royal Prince of Great Britain and Ireland, Duke of Cumberland, Duke of Braunschweig and Lueneburg; curule base, solid mahogany, aged patina frames with turned stretchers, original gilt wood rosettes, gilt plaster paw feet with palmettes.


    Condition Report*: Some plaster feet with varying degrees of chipping and repairs, one plaster ornament to foot completely obliterated (pieces included), glue repair to one curule leg at block terminal requiring later structural reinforcement, upholstery period correct but later, errant nicking and scratching, some regluing and strengthening, some age-related cracking, with wear commensurate with age and use.
