    The ebonized cabinet with gilt bronze mounts crowned with enameled clock, cabinet inset with twenty-three enamel on copper panels painted with classical scenes, pair of doors to cabinet front are backed with enamel panels and open to three interior drawers faced with enamel panels, gilt metal mounts include stamped bands, monopod griffin feet, telemon carrying canted corners with cupid finial to each, winged female figure to each corner of top, enameled balloon-form clock raised within gilt mounts with lion's head holding ring to either side, frame circling face hinges open, key wound mechanism.

    Condition Report*:

    Cabinet: missing one corner finial cherub mount, female figures to top are loose (nails have come loose), framing to each side shows cracking as well as exterior and interior of doors, missing vertical framing to back (some parts are within drawer), gilt beaded frame to one interior door has come loose and is in drawer, loss to support of finial at right back corner. Enamel panels: left door exterior hair-line crack, right door interior chipping at edge. Clock: missing key, damage to case of clock front: chip to right of face, frame surrounding face is lose; case of clock back: including loss of enamel at top center (crack extends from loss) and lower right (crack extends from loss) exposing copper, chip at bottom edge; clock case side: small chip to either side.
