The sideboard likely of French or English origin, having plain three-board top with stepped molding to border, three drawer configuration, lower apron with pointed scroll work, raised on tapering cylindrical legs to front and rectangular block legs to rear.
Estimate: $3,000 - $5,000.
Front legs are likely later vintage replacements, legs likley cut down from original length, brasses are period correct but are likely not original and do not match, refinished, some staining to top boards, decorative trim reglued and missing to front apron, chipping ot trim to middle drawer, some chipping and nicking, with wear commensurate with age and use.
