    Condition Report*: Originally made as rocking chairs but converted into armchairs with sled-like runners by Henry Mather Green in 1923 at the request of Mrs. Dudley P. Allen, the second owner of the Cordelia Culbertson House. Each chair in overall good condition, with all inlay present and intact. Small reflections of age and moderate use present, such as scratches of varying depths, rubbing to finish of wood components, and scattered discolorations to replaced upholstery. Each chair structurally sound.
