    An English George II-Style Carved Mahogany Cabinet in the Manner of Thomas Chippendale, 19th century
    89-3/4 h x 50-1/4 w x 21-5/8 d inches (228.0 x 127.6 x 54.9 cm)
    The fine cabinet having removable upper case with intricately carved and pierced bonnet above dentil moulding, paned windows framed by repeating fretwork, five-shelf interior with fine silk damask coverings, lower table with sweeping carved border, apron with carved and pierced Gothic tracery and shell motifs, scroll and quatrefoil latticework at leg joints, raised on squared and canted legs with carved husk/bellflower motifs in relief.

    Condition Report*: Lot includes key. Attractive dark patina, some breakage to latticework to rear where upper legs meet table surface (pieces included with lot), flaking and minor breaking to latticework to front at upper leg joint,  chip with fill and light loss to right leg, light wear at escutcheon, minor scratching, three missing teeth to dentil moulding, light wear to fabric to interior, some chipping and losses to caulk supporting panes to interior, presenting well.
