    An Edwardian Mahogany, Satinwood and Marquetry Mirrored Sideboard, circa 1900
    88 inches high x 54-1/4 inches wide x 18 inches deep (223.5 x 137.8 x 45.7 cm)

    PROPERTY FROM THE ESTATE OF RICHARD D. BASS, DALLAS, TEXAS

    The mirrored sideboard in two pieces, top surmounted by pediment with urns finials, bone and satinwood figural marquetry throughout, down to tripartite mirror, carved gallery gate below with urn finials, lower central mirror flanked by marquetry banding and shelf to each side, lower cabinet case with string banding to top board, enclosed side compartments flanking bowfront mirrored compartment, marquetry to doors, trim, and leg shoulders, raised on thin squared tapering legs joined by stretcher shelf.


    Condition Report*: Scattered missing portions of inlay, some striations observed to silvering to mirrors, minor scratching, unusual staining to legs, lifting to veneer and missing strip to upper portion, otherwise good condition. Lot includes key.
