    A Russian Empire Gilt Bronze and Inlaid Marble Table

    Unknown maker, Russia
    Early Nineteenth Century
    Gilt bronze, marble, semi-precious stone
    Unmarked
    31 in. high x 35 in. wide x 21 in. deep

    Of shaped rectangular form, the lift off top inset in chased gilt bronze frame, the black marble top outlined in malachite and inlaid with ovals of semi precious stone; the gilt bronze base with four eagle head incurving legs with rings, talon feet grasping green marble balls, with pierced oval stretcher.
