    The commode in the Louis XVI-style, with shaped Breche d' Alep marble top with large rounded fragments in shades of taupe, ochre, sienna, and brown, above a cuboid case with three stacked drawers, each with breakfront, parquetry inlay, and original gilt bronze escutcheons and ring pulls, atop cabriole legs, the front two accented with gilt bronze sabots.

    Condition Report*: Repaired crack to center of front of marble top, additional flakes and chips especially to edges of marble top, with evidence of previous fills, losses to veneer to front below marble top, additional scattered cracks and losses to veneer, scattered surface nicks and scratches, some dulling and toning to gilt bronze hardware and mounts, with wear commensurate with age and indicative of use. Lot includes two keys.
