    Note: Andre Lemoine and Louis-Edouard Lemarchand were Parisian cabinetmakers who began making furniture in 1846. In 1863, Henri Lemoine took sole possession of the company, until his death in 1893. Lemoine and Lemarchand were one of the chief furniture makers to the French Imperial family, and were particularly prolific supplying interior furnishings for Napoleon III.
