    PROVENANCE:
    Michel-Guy Chadelaud, Antiquaire Decorateur, Paris.

Doug Houser, a long-term resident of Dallas, has an eye for excellence and a passion for the fine things in life. Over an intensive period of 3 years, with input from one of Dallas' most sophisticated interior designers, Sherry Hayslip, Doug traveled with a mission - to decorate his Beaux Art inspired Turtle Creek home with the finest examples of fin-de-siècle design. From 2002 to 2005, he visited Paris, Lyons, Rome, Florence, Bueno Aires, and other destinations, searching for extraordinary furniture and decorative arts, many of which are featured within this catalogue.

The table with porcelain mounted top and frieze, supported by four gilt bronze fluted and tapering legs decorated with satyrs, braced by a stretched topped with bowl finial.
