A Large Federal-Style Painted and Giltwood Convex Mirror, early 20th century
38-1/2 inches diameter (97.8 cm)

PROPERTY FROM THE ESTATE OF RICHARD D. BASS, DALLAS, TEXAS

The round mirror with gilt reeded frame, inset with gilt ball decoration on green ground, to gilt and ebonized wood rings surrounding convex mirror.

Condition Report*: Some cracking to gesso finish, some wear to gilding, some ball decoration with gesso losses, green paint is likely not original to the piece, losses to silvering, otherwise good condition.
