This incredibly complicated and obviously delicate fossil specimen is an amazing spiny Trilobite. This Comura is characterized by numerous spines seemingly protruding from everywhere on this ancient arthropod from Morocco. The fossil is a dull black given a pronounced dimensionality by the curving "sail spines" that curl like fishhooks in lateral rows off the body of the mysterious prehistoric creature. An impressive wonder of restoration and handling, this is a collector example not for the faint of heart.
