    Petrified Yew Slab
    Miocene
    Goldfield, Esmeralda County
    Nevada, USA

    Another massive example of unique Petrified Wood, this specimen of Yew is extremely thick but with an uneven form which tapers a bit as the giant surface slopes at an angle. The polished window is replete with a myriad of earthy tones and various cavities in a mottled patterning over its entirety. The rind is thick and very much so, at points up to 3 inches (7.6 cm), when the slab is only 16 inches (40.6 cm) across its face. This fossil originated in Nevada, which will resonate among serious collectors, and is one unique variety.
    Overall Measurements: 16.00 x 14.00 x 3.00 inches (40.64 x 35.56 x 7.62 cm)
