    7.99 x 7.99 x 0.82 inches (20.30 x 20.30 x 2.08 cm)

    This slab of colorful "rainbow" Petrified Wood from Arizona is substantial at some 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter. The Triassic fossil remnant from an ancient pine tree has been cut and polished to make its smooth surface a picture of mustard and reddish-orange colors with subtle patterns from the original organic wood. This sizable slab is 200 million years old but looks more like a work of contemporary art.
