    Petrified Wood Log
    Miocene
    Baten, Indonesia
    4.57 x 4.33 x 12.80 inches (11.60 x 11.00 x 32.50 cm)

    This polished smooth Petrified Wood log looks like wood. Its earthy coloration and natural shape give it an impressive appeal. The almost 13 inch (33 cm) tall section has a visible "knot" in the middle and a 45 degree slope to its tip. The intermixed white, brown and black hues make the surface intriguing from all vantage points. The bottom has been cut flat to allow for this piece to stand on its own without a base.
