    It truly is the best of both worlds when a fossil is both beautiful and utilitarian. These remarkable Arizona Petrified Wood bookends are indeed that. This pair of prepared Arizona wood bookends have the archetypical coloratiion so coveted by collectors. There is a burst of color from the "center," which includes earthy reds, and a myriad of different yellows as well as purple, blue, gray, orange, and white. There are even two tiny cavities with Quartz crystal inclusions! The "bark" has been left "natural" for a nice contrast against the smooth polished face. Without a doubt, this is a perfect gift for anyone - including oneself.
