    At 38 inches (96.5 cm) in diameter, this huge round of stunning Petrified Wood from Arizona is an ideal piece for presentation as a tabletop. The myriad of colors combines with intricate patterning, resulting in a highly functional, yet extremely decorative, specimen. The thick example, from the Triassic Period, has been sealed and reinforced on the back with a fiberglass resin coating. The material is quite strong and designed for use. This is a statement piece and should be the focal point of any room or décor that needs a large infusion of dramatic color. Petrified Wood is beautiful and functional but also has a story.
