    Triassic
    Molteno Formation
    Charama Plateau, WNW of Gokwe
    Midlands, Zimbabwe
    10.24 x 10.24 x 0.39 inches (26.00 x 26.00 x 1.00 cm)

    This big and bold piece of Petrified Wood has hints of the unique color often associated with the very interesting material from Zimbabwe. One hemisphere features a crystalline core with a hollow cavity exhibiting snowy white mineralization. This is a particularly intriguing specimen and a very cool fossil.
