    5.66 x 5.22 x 0.88 inches (14.37 x 13.25 x 2.23 cm)

    This massive reddish fossil leaf literally coming out of the mauve matrix and has a bit of a mottled appearance. The oval botanical remnant is rather complete with pronounced venation. The singular fossil is elegantly framed by a blocky brick of sedimentary matrix.
