This little fossil plate is almost covered by a "winnowing fan" shaped Gingko leaf. The striated fan is a dirty white which does stand out against the rust reddish-brown rock housing the Paleocene example. This is not a particularly attractive specimen, but it is a nice representation of Sentinel Butte material.
