An exceptional Cretaceous fossil Guitarfish, Rhinobatos whitfieldi, from the renowned marine deposits of Lebanon. This specimen exhibits remarkable preservation, including visible soft tissue detail and an impressively large size rarely seen in material from the region. Dating to approximately 100 million years ago, this rhombic-shaped ray relative displays the genus's defining anatomy-a broad disc with a short, tapering tail. Its rarity and completeness distinguish it as both a scientifically important and decoratively striking fossil. A superb and uncommon example of Lebanon's exceptional Cretaceous marine fauna.
