A sizable calyx of a fossil Crinoid is attached to this piece of greenish-gray matrix. The head of the quite ancient animal is pointed back over the rock with a cluster of long "arms" with pronounced segments of grayish-white color emanating from the aboral cup. This represents the Scytalocrinus variety of Crinoids.
