This fossilized tooth once belonged to a Spinosaurus of the Cretaceous Period. Measuring more modestly in size at 4.5 inches (11.37 cm) in length, the specimen shows clear enamel preservation along with natural wear consistent with burial and fossilization in the Kem Kem Beds of Morocco. Despite its weathered surface, the tooth retains the conical shape and coloration typical of this semi-aquatic Dinosaur. Spinosaurus is believed to have been one of the largest theropods, known for hunting both terrestrial and aquatic prey.
