This rather odd, pair of partial Dinosaur footprints represents the tips of the digits in an opposing and captivating manner. The natural trace fossils offer an element of visual design and are a rich brownish hue. The mottled, greenish-gray and "old" looking matrix rock is quite mysterious. The blocks are not perfect, nor identical, but the partial impressions are well matched, looking like a tree when touching. These remnants relate to the ichnogenus variety Grallator known solely by such trace fossil materials. Given the obvious visual clues, it is likely these impressions were likely made by a juvenile creature. It is notable that the South Hadley tracks were found only a few miles away from where the first footprints were discovered back in 1802.
