This mottled and sinister fossil measuring over 8 inches (20 cm) in length and over 9 inches (23 cm) on the curve is, obviously, a colossal Dinosaur claw. Most such claws, especially larger ones, have some level of repair and restoration, as with this specimen that features minimal surface patching, fracture fills, and crack stabilization, but the superlative behemoth of a claw boasts a combination of immense size, ominous form, and pronounced curvature that is outstanding. The manus (killing) claw is from a Spinosaurus, which lived during the Late Cretaceous in what is Morocco today. This theropod was even larger than the legendary T-rex and had a sizable "fin" running over most of its back. Featuring a mix of light tan and gold hues, this monster fossil exhibits elongated and deep blood grooves.
Measurements: 7.68 x 2.23 x 1.46 inches (19.50 x 5.67 x 3.70 cm)
